Dear Tobi,
Thanks for all your help with organising our holiday on Taveuni. It all went like clockwork. May was a delightful host and very helpful in organising contacts and drivers to assist with Karol's family research on the island. The bure was all we could hope for. Maybe when the track is formed down to the water it will score the bonus point, but it is certainly a steep gully! We are already imagining a return to Todranisiga sometime when in need of another good relaxing break.
Jewel Divers were great. Very relaxed but focused and competent. Qio put me smoothly through my paces and we went on to some wonderful dives (from the perspective of a complete novice). Karol and I went with Charlie to do some snorkeling. Karol is not confident in the water and Charlie took good care of her but it was unfortunate that some time was not taken beforehand to show her how to clear her snorkel and mask and it seemed as though the mask was not perfectly fitted. The result was that she panicked a bit and had to abandon her swim which was a pity. She'll try a snorkel in back in NZ and have another go next time.
Thanks again and best wishes.

Bula Tobi,
Thanks for everything and please say hello to the Bibi family at Bibi's Hideway. I just want to thank them for looking after us, even though we had children with us, they really know how to look after us.
I will definitely tell my friends about the beauty of Taveuni and the warmth of the people.

Hello Taveuni Adventures,
thanks for looking after our bookings and making suggestions for us. Bibi's Hideway was great. Simple but pleasurable. The host Jim was awesome and really looked after us. I would recommend Bibi's to anyone who wants to get away from the ratrace.

I was very interested to learn of your project in Taveuni. I have been visiting Taveuni since 1982 and it is a unique place. Although I have visited many times, I have seen a relatively small amount as I have never been really off the bus route. I am very glad to hear of your vision for the island, of which I have a small piece myself on Soqulu Plantation. I hope one day to build a house there. I wish you well with your project.
